Here are the requirements again. The green is the content we added to focus the
bullet on the requirements.
Position Requirements:
• Team player with the ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Ability to
negotiate with customers
• Tenacity to work in a fast-paced environment and
the skills to resolve conficts
We do not copy and paste from the description. Instead we write content from
the description in our own words. Again, the description contained the follow-
ing:
Notice we replaced the words “Handling large volumes of calls” in the general
text with the words “negotiate with clients,” which were words contained in the
job description. We already had the confict resolution reference in the bullet.
Therefore, we left it the way it was.
Of course, you only integrate job description content that is true. For instance, if
you do not possess a background in negotiations, you cannot include that par-
ticular skill in your resume. Focus on other skills contained in the description.
