Today employers receive so many resumes with skills fo-
cused specifcally on positions they advertise, defocusing
your resume only decreases your chances. It essentially wa-
ters down your strengths (from the employer’s perspective)
when comparing your qualifcations to the position’s requirements.
Today it is more important to demonstrate purity in skill (focused path) rather
than diversity of skill (unfocused path).
