years.
Notice how we maintained a general feel by changing
“originating loans”
to
“Generated new business.”
Later we
will learn how to make each bullet more specifc to the
positions that we are applying to.
3. Each bullet should start with an activity
and end with a successful outcome
Suppose your
path is Account Management.
When you
write your work experience, start with an activity (see ex-
ample below):
XYZ Company
Account Manager
• Was charged with the responsibility to revive dormant accounts…
And end the bullet with a successful outcome:
…leading to re-establishing 80 new accounts, the highest ever
achieved companywide, and increasing revenue by 54%.
Therefore, the entire bullet would read something like this:
