Build Your Resume
A

If you have not yet completed this step, please go back and fnish it now,
and come back to this stage once you’re sure that you have. This is an important
step when creating a resume that distinguishes your skills as a match.
After defning your career path,
(Step Two—Defne Your Career Path)
, and down-
loading your resume sample (Skilldoc™), place the path you identifed as your
frst priority on the very top of the sample. For instance, if you identifed Custom-
er Service Management as your frst priority, place the words “Customer Service
Manager” on the very top of the sample.

The path drives the content. Whatever the path, the
content describes your strengths as they relate to the
path. Because we are using Customer Service Manage-
ment (CSM) as an example for the path, the content
must only communicate those strengths relating to
CSM. This is important because a resume with the path
“Customer Service Manager” should be sent only to
employers looking to hire for that position. See below.
