Are you open?
Be willing to work for companies offering positions that may not be exactly your
frst choice. Sometimes a person with a degree in marketing and advertising
may land a job as a clerk for a company that has a Marketing and Advertising
department. Having inside knowledge of the company after landing the job and
building relationships with key people within the company may lead to a promo-
tion to the job you had in mind from the beginning.
